Tables we actually hold
Sokyo, BLACK Bar & Grill and the chef's counter seats that never reach the booking sites. Our arrangements keep them open on Friday nights.
Priority seating, not luck
The complex holds two of Sydney's most decorated dining rooms. Sokyo runs a Japanese menu built on the morning's fish-market buy; BLACK does dry-aged beef over ironbark with the harbour behind you. Both fill on Fridays weeks out.
Through our arrangement we hold a small number of tables each night. The chef's table — eight seats inside the kitchen — takes 48 hours' notice and sells first.

Three things you'll notice
Sokyo
Kaiseki-influenced Japanese with a counter facing the sashimi team. Book the counter, not the room — that's where the evening happens.
BLACK Bar & Grill
Dry-aged beef, ironbark flame, and a window over the water. The rib eye for two is the table's anchor dish.
Private rooms
Three private dining rooms seat 8 to 30 for celebrations that shouldn't share air with the main floor.
Four steps, handled
01
Tell us the occasion, the party size and how adventurous the table is.
02
We match room and time — early sitting for families, late counter seats for the long evening.
03
Dietary notes go to the kitchen ahead of the night. Menus flex; allergies are handled seriously.
04
The bill settles to your room or your card. Coffee upstairs or a short walk to the bar.

"Friday at Sokyo's counter, booked two days out. Our Sydney friends couldn't get a table. We could."
