02
GDPR rights for EU/UK guests
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, and receive a portable copy.
You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent — newsletter subscriptions, for example. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed.
Requests go to [email protected] with 'GDPR' in the subject. We verify identity before acting and respond within one month.
03
International data transfers
Your data is processed in Australia. When we transfer EU/UK guest data outside those regions we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where required.
Booking-related transfers to the hotel and service providers happen only to the extent needed to fulfil your reservation.
Our full data-handling practices — collection, storage and retention — are described in the Privacy Policy.
04
Legal bases for processing
We process personal data on four lawful bases: performance of a contract (your booking), legitimate interests (running and improving the desk), legal obligation (tax and licensing records), and consent (newsletters, optional marketing).
Where consent is the basis, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
05
Complaints and regulators
Complaints about our handling of personal data can be made to us directly, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, or — for EU/UK guests — to your local supervisory authority.
We ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter quickly: [email protected] or +61 2 9777 9000.
06
Website liability
Information on this site is provided in good faith and checked regularly, but hotel rates, availability and services change. Quotations issued by the desk supersede prices shown on these pages.
We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from this site, including booking engines and map services.
Australian law governs the use of this website. Disputes are subject to the courts of New South Wales.
What this means for your booking
For a booking this page changes little day to day — it tells you who stands behind the site and which extra rights follow you if you're visiting from Europe.
Keep a copy
Every booking confirmation references this document. Print it from your browser, or ask the desk and we'll email a dated PDF of the version in force on your booking date.
In force from 5 January 2026
The date on this page is the date the document took effect. Bookings always follow the version in force at the time they were made.
Material changes are announced
When a clause changes in a way that affects guests, the change is flagged on this page for ninety days — not quietly swapped.
Older versions on request
Superseded versions are archived and sent on request within two business days — useful when a dispute turns on wording.
